Die Vermieterin war sehr angenehm, freundlich, hilfsbereit und es hat in der Wohnungs- Ausstattung an nichts gefehlt. Besonders angenehm ist das Parken im Hof, da die Parkflächen in der Strasse rar sind. Der Blick von der Wohnung/Terrasse auf Nizza ist wunderschön. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

The property was very charming as was our hostess. The villa is on a hillside overlooking Nice with wonderful views and we sat on the terrace every evening to watch the sun set behind the mountains. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. There is a bus stop just outside the property to get down to the train station where you have easy access to trains, trams and buses that can get you anywhere you need to go (we didn't rent a car). The only caution is to watch the bus schedule carefully if you're relying on the bus to get you down the hill as it runs from about 8:00 to 6:45. If you stay out later you can always take an Uber. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend this property and definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful. Sophie and Robert were the best hosts ever!! Upon arrival, we discovered that we had left our 220/110 adapter at the hotel....so no I pad charger , no cell phone charger, therefore no GPS. Robert and Sophie drove us to the store and found an appropriate 220 V charger. without gps we would have been totally lost. Anyway, the entire week was perfect. Only thing....it's a bit out of the way, and the bus doesn't run frequently so a car is best, if not, Uber is great in this area. We spent about 220 euros for Uber a week. We are planning to go back.

Incredible view, wonderful host

We had a choice to stay in an apartment or the lower level of this beautiful villa. We chose this and could not have been more pleased. First of all, the views from the covered porch are spectacular of Nice. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked at home several nights and usually cooked a big breakfast before heading out for the day. The real bonus came from our wonderful host. She is a Nice native and had so many incredible suggestions for places to see in this gorgeous area. We spent an afternoon on the Promenade, but then visited Villefranche sur Mer, Eze, Monaco, St Paul du Vence, and a wonderful little village called Tourrettes sur Loup (close to St Paul). Our host speaks only French, but is great with Google Translate. She had her extended family visiting the same week we were there. She was very welcoming and cheerful, but still gave us privacy in the evenings. We will definitely come back to Nice, as my husband and I fell in love with the area, and would stay here again when we do. From the other reviews, some people said you could here motorcycles and that the road was winding. Yes to both, but the entire area is like that and it is part of the unique charm of the Cote d’Azur. We initially were not going to drive much, but our hosts daughter (who was visiting and spoke great English) told us not to be timid. We tried and were pleasantly surprised. As she told us, Parking was well marked throughout the city and plentiful. It may be a bit more expensive closer to tourist areas, but we did not think it ridiculous anywhere. A good GPS in your car is absolutely necessary if you do drive. Our ability to be spontaneous by driving ourselves was such a great benefit and we saw and did much more than if we tried to only use public transportation. However, public transportation is plentiful, frequent and inexpensive if you decide to use that. All in all, a wonderful visit and a great place to stay.

Comfortable self contained annex

Good sized lounge / kitchen area was very well equipped. Separate bedroom with ensuite shower. Lovely outside sitting / eating area with panoramic view of city & sunset. Furnishings a little dated but this quiet, self-contained annex of the owner's villa was an ideal base for visit to Cote d'Azur. The only negative aspect for us was the steep street with blind corners - busy at times with fast cars & motorbikes. Mme Dupre herself was delightful - around most days, very attentive and keen to chat despite my "school boy French". We walked / cycled most days around Nice & surrounding villages - the hills certainly provide plenty of exercise! We did not use public transport but the area seems well served. The autumn weather was perfect for exploring the area and at this time of year, nowhere we visited was overcrowded.

Beautiful Villa in a great location

We stayed in this apartment for a week in October and had a fabulous holiday. Michelle our host was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and has superb views. The location is also great, away from busy Nice centre but yet very accessible to all places of interest. We walked to Nice Port and centre in 15 to 20 mins, a pleasant stroll downhill. We did a lot of touring in the week using public transport which is very efficient and cheap. Villefranche-sur-mer was our favourite which is about a 15 min walk from the villa and is very pretty with lots of little paved streets. The village of Eze is also definitely worth a visit. And of course Nice centre has it all, beautiful promenade, fabulous architecture, designer shops and the old town. Thanks Michelle for being such a wonderful host and for being so patient and correcting my French. We hope to return again next year.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Haus erlebt, das Meer in Villefranche genossen, Éze und Menton besucht und sehr gut gegessen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die steile Straße und die extrem steile und enge Auffahrt.

Sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin

Das Gastfreundschaft war perfekt. Wir wurden fast um Mitternacht von unseren Gastgebern am Bahnhof abgeholt und am Abreisetag wieder hingebracht. Damit wir am Sonntag Morgen (unserer ersten Tag) frühstücken können, haben wir Brot, Milch, Kakao, ein paar Getränke und Butter geschenkt bekommen. Und jede Menge Informationen über Nizza und Umgebung. Da meine Tochter krank geworden ist, hat unsere Gastgeberin ihr erste Medikame besorgt. Super freundlich. Das einzige Manko ist, dass sich die Villa mitten auf dem Berg befundet und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel selten fahren und schlecht erreichbar sind (entweder 7-10 Minuten Berghoch oder 12-15 Minuten Berg runter). Ich würde da nur mit einem Auto erneut fahren. Ansonsten jederzeit gerne. Und das Internet ist nicht so gut, so dass Arbeiten nicht möglich wäre. Aber für uns war es ausreichend.

Je recommande vivement !!! Couple très accueillant, d'une gentillesse extrême. Au petit soin pour leurs hôtes. Extrêmement serviables, d'une gentillesse incommensurable.
