Excellent choice for Niseko

The Setsumon was in an excellent location - easy to walk almost anywhere in Hirafu. The apartment was huge and quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was a lack of their own transportation around town.

Wow absolutely amazed on this place! We stayed at the penthouse room and it was well worth it! The jacuzzi was perfect and being able to ski in and out was also a huge plus

First time staying at the Setsumon and it by far has exceeded any accommodation I have stayed in at a ski resort. The apartment was very modern, spacious, comfortable bed and delightful staff. A special shout out to the cheery young fellow Andrew who drove us to Kutchan last minute to catch our train and helped us with our belongings. God bless!

We really enjoyed the Setsumon. We stayed in a Studio. It was two 30 somethings, and a 12 month old baby. The Studio is one room, but it is big. It has a kitchen, tv, couch, and bed. There is also a long entryway (genkan) so you can put your boots and stuff. We put our baby in the crib in the corridor. It worked well. The Setsumon is very central in Hirafu and easy to get to lifts, shuttles, and convenience stores. We did not go to restaurants, but there were several nearby.

It location is is fantastic, with a wide selection of restaurants, winter sports gear shopping/rental. Ski school and chair lift is about 10 minutes walk away. Plus the staff is very helpful and efficient.

we stayed at a 3bedroom suits, overall the room is very clean and the whole apartment is very spacious. downside is that the front desk only service until 6pm, so when we needed some help from front desk after working hours its a bit inconvenient. con: it has two kitchen and comes with all the kitchenware you need, very nice and convenient. wifi speed is very slow cant even play music with the wifi pro: doesnt come with tooth brush

The Vale - great accommodations

We booked the Setsummon but were moved to the Vale due to a booking issue. We stayed in a studio unit with a full kitchen and a washer dryer. The room had great storage for all our ski gear. Staff were mostly English and Australians and couldn't have been more helpful. The onsen was nice. Breakfast was western and very good. Loved the location - true ski in/ski out.

Cozy hotel in handy location.

Our first of hopefully many stays. A wonderful experience. Lovely, relaxed and helpful English-speaking reception and transport/transfer staff. Fabulous location handy to shops, supermarkets, eateries, ski school, chair lift and Welcome Centre (for coach transfers) which makes it all so much easier when you have (younger) children. Kids loved sifting through the bowls of complimentary wrapped lollies at reception for their favourite flavours - happily encouraged by staff.

Great location, awesome service

Customer service is well above par. A little off expectations is the lack of seat warmer in a winter location is a little disappointing. We stayed on the 1st flr, with full view of the roads. The apartment could be better with a little more privacy

LOCATION is key !

Prime location in Niseko Hirafu area, there isn't many location better than this. Room are spacious, clean, loaded with supplies and kitchenware. Staff are nice and helpful. Me and my family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
