Nice waterfront resort, rooms appears ok and resort style. They had issue with main water line after a heavy rain which left us without water for more than 15 hours!. Staff were helpful and welcoming even during water supply issues however, restaurant staff forgets to put order into the System and you wait hour without food until you enquire! This happened twice both in main and Japanese restaurant during dinner times. Suggest to give restaurant staff electronic devices for taking order. Overall good stay.

Rooms should be tidied every day

Tanoa was a great hotel as a base for a couple of days to explore Nadi and surrounds . The staff are fantastic - efficient and friendly . The rooms were spacious and clean . The pool was very clean and inviting. There are lots of good food options. The foyer has just been renovated and is very airy and a pleasant place to sit . The hotel is set amongst lovely tropical gardens . The only downside was that the next round of renovations - of the bar area - had started the day before we arrived so it was very noisy from about 10-3pm but not an issue if you are out and about . The proximity to the airport and the free airport transfers provided by Tanoa took the worry out of our return trip. Highly recommended . Better than most airport hotels .

Awesome place to relax. Staff are very kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Love the views from the rooms and the food was also good. Good balance of peace vs party life. Corals so close by the island. Items to improve - provide at least a bottle of water per day to rooms, general pricing on everything is quite high and can see it is intentionally trained to staff, provide reasonable cost transfer options to island. Overall loved the holiday and would do it again. However if doing again, would do 1 or 2 nights than 5 nights as it is same entertainment for all days.

We turned up and it took over an hour to check in because there was an issue with our room. Once in our room, the bathroom was dirty with hairs and sticky smudge marks and the joining room had some sort of spilt milk all over the floor making the room smell foul. After discussing with staff we were moved but lost the joining rooms and were placed in separate rooms on different sides of the hallway, which was a problem as we were travelling with4 kids, 2 small kids and an older daughter with autism made it tricky with separate rooms. My husband and I ended up having to be in separate rooms .This definitely left us feeling disappointed, especially on a family holiday. Food was so overpriced and very average. Pool water was dirty and our daughter ended up watching the a staph infection. Staff were absolutely beautiful. Duty manager Seru was amazing. Restaurant staff were happy, kind and always helpful . The beach was beautiful, absolutely stunning.
