My service dog was illegally turned away. The clerk asked illegal questions pertaining to my service dog then turned me away without giving me a refund. My situation is dire!!! I need that refund to get a different hotel room elsewhere. I am on the street.

It is not really a hotel. I am at a loss to name it. Nothing really worked except the elevator. The TV would turn on but all the channels I would attempt to watch said it needed a subscription. There were no written instructions on how to use the system. While there is a phone in the room it did not work. IT was a phone system from an old San Francisco Hotel, long gone. The hotel is right on the Amtrak tracks and there are defining horns as it slowly passes by 24/7. There was a bar across the street that played extremely loud music late into the night. When I complained the staff looked at me while I was the problem. Most of the restaurants in the area are extremely expensive. Some of the staff were friendly. When I turned on the shower the shower head flew across the shower with great force. Fortunately, I was not inside of the shower at the time. Something else in it broke. After the maintenance guy came, he put the shower head back on and said he would be back. He never came back. The towels are extreme thin. No bedspread or comforter. The pillows were very flat. There are two heating systems in the room. One was worthless and made a lot of noise and the other sort of worked again with a lot of noise. It was really cheap on Hotels.com, but I would not use them again. It was not restful.

We didn't stay for the breakfast, we left immediately. The first room they sent us to was full of power tools and there was no bed. The second room they sent us to was missing the window and covered in an inch of water. The third room they sent us to was covered in some random persons belongings and there was another person in there. The entire hotel looks nothing like the add and there was a large amount of prostitution going on there as well. We immediately felt unsafe from the moment we parked there, to the moment we left. I have contested the charge with my bank because we did not get what we paid for.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to stay because I was not feeling safe due to enclosed space and there was no window to allow air into the room. I was feeling claustrophobic. Lots of potential and needs improvements. It was also very noisy due to motorists. This place is not ideal for people who don’t like noise. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Room was horrendous it had bed bugs as the white bedding when I woke up the next morning was covered in blood the floor in the hall was beeping dried as we checked in the shower was squirting out of the top of the shower onto the ceiling the train went past every 20/30 minutes even through the night just left me with trauma and anxiety and feel like itching all the time and had to throw lots of expensive clothes and trainers away due to the problem and also had to leave and find another place to stay after 2 days as we weren't able to stay for our health and safety and there were what looked like ladies of the nights coming and going
