Staff very nice but hotel needs refurbishment in very poor condition. Dinner was very good and food was hot. Breakfast selection ok but cold. Staff very kindly arranged poached eggs which were hit. Needs better coffee and tea.

Last stayed at the property in late 80s and looks like the rooms have not been decorated or updated since then. Bathroom especially in need of some TLC. Paid for breakfast but didnt have it the last day as i just wanted to leave. Its a shame as it could be a really great place if they invested in it. I wont be returning.

Great location and overlooking the bay as we went for a sea view we stayed because it was pet friendly for us . Clean & tidy although a little dated we still enjoyed the location and the staff were very welcoming qnd helpful all in all a nice atmosphere and experience.

Not great, arrived to a room with no flushing toilet! This was ok as they moved me to another room where the curtains kept falling off their attachments letting the light in and the shower was cold (no hot water). All in all very poor!

We were disappointed that our room was not cleaned over the 4 nights we stayed. We only had 2 bath towels, one hand towel & one bathmat - should have been 2 hand towels. The towels were only changed on the last night. Our drink cups were not cleaned & the tea/coffee was not replenshed until we asked for it. The television didn't work but the lovely male receptionists fixed it quickly.

The original room we were allocated had a view of a tiled roof about 2 feet from the window with nothing else visible at all. I asked if it was possible to upgrade as the next morning would be my husband’s 60th birthday. We were given the choice of 2 better rooms. I chose one and we moved to that. There was plaster peeling off the walls and the showers produced nothing more than a dribble. However, the room was comfortable, the reception staff were friendly and breakfast was decent.

The property was a bit dated. We were in room 207. The floor has an incline in it, which wasn’t the best. You would get out of bed and feel like you have had to much to drink. I do have a video of it but it won’t let me post it

Everything about this hotel can be summed up in one word, spectacular! Great communication from our late check in request to the magnificent view overlooking Portree. If you’re planning a trip to Skye, staying here is a must-do.
