Walked into our room that was the jetted tub room and it was very dirty big nasty hair in the fridge and the counter tops was dirty and sticky had to have management come clean our room the check in lady was very rude to me when I checked in and when I had the complaint the bed was horrible the breakfast was horrible will never stay there ever again don’t waste your money there!

Wonderful experience

My sister, who has dementia had reservations for 2 nights. Because my sister was having some behavioral problems because of unfamiliar surroundings we left early so as not to disturb other guests. We live 4 hours away and while on the way home I received a call from the hotel manager that they were refunding my last nights reservation. I would recommend The Lighthouse Inn highly. The hotel is lovely, clean, beautiful views of the ocean and dunes and the staff was very polite and welcoming.

Safety upon check-in needs work!!! Not only did the check-in lady request car information verbally, she also stated outloud everyones room number. When I brought that to her attention, she stated it was policy to point to the numbers and say it out loud, but low in volume. Unfortunately, her low volume wasn't very low, as I could tell you which room and car detail for everyone in front of me. So if you are by youself, be aware of this. Other than this, our stay was great!!! Room had a gorgeous view. We saw horses, a bear, seagulls, and ducks all from our balcony. Hotel is older and areas clearly show their age, but it still gives a welcoming vibe. Breakfast was great, with both warm and cold options. Security officer was friendly. Amenities in our room were on the older side, but everything worked well. Oh, even though couches are pull out beds, they make you sign an agreement that you aren't allowed to use the pullout part.

This was my first time staying here. All of the staff I encountered were really polite and very friendly. My room was gorgeous and clean. So clean! It’s next to a beach access point, so if you prefer to walk it’s not a problem. There’s a clam cleaning station and a ton of parking. I didn’t have a chance to eat the free breakfast, but it smelled delicious. The only cons I saw: the lobby is quite small and so are the parking spots. Those things won’t deter me from booking again. Thank you!!
