Hotels. Com mistake and high cleaning cost!

We booked on Hotels.com and this is where place we had a problem. It advised us our total cost of the stay for 1 night was 48 Euros. This is a condo and min night stay is 2 nights, which website should not have allowed us to book in the first place. Plus 60 Euro cleaning cost which was more than the night stay hidden in total cost after you have booked in small print. Sylvia was amazing in trying to help our situation as she showed up late at night to meet us. We weren't in the room for 12hrs and only slept in beds... Management would not drop 60 Euro cleaning fee even though Sylvia tried. Nice apartment and Sylvia went way above to help us out.... Thank you! Room was nice, just not 108 Euro nice with the cleaning cost added on. Booking. Com adds the cleaning cost to your booking so no surprises when you book.
