Old City beach resort & accommodations

Very friendly and attentive staff. Set-menu breakfast was good and had Thai, Western and Continental options you choose from. Note to travelers: don’t flush toilet paper down the toilet; use the bidet. There’s only a small areas I would nitpick over. 1) Their main doors were often wide open at certain points of the day, which made it very warm in the main lobby and where you were eating breakfast, but to be fair, who’s spending a long time in that space anyway aside from breakfast? 2) I, as a solo traveler, had what appeared to be a king size mattress on what looked like two separate smaller bed frames pushed together. The frames being pushed together left an hard bump at the middle of the bed under the mattress that made sleeping a bit stiff at times. I usually like a firmer bed and to be fair, this may have been a unique configuration of the bed frames and mattress. 3) My room faced the main street and even with the windows shut I could hear some music. Nothing my white noise app couldn’t cover up. These small things were nothing that would be such an inconvenience to me personally to ruin my experience because I was just excited to be here and the staff had great suggestions for activities and things to see. The sounds outside are likely something you just have to deal with if you’re staying anywhere in the old town and it stopped after a certain point anyway. The service and staff were exceptional! Location is extremely convenient as well. I would 100% stay here again.

What stood out the most was the amazing customer service by all their staff. Very clean room. Also liked the ice cream and water you could pick up anytime at the lobby. Wonderful location close to everything.
