We had a great stay! The cabin is spacious for our family and the location is very quite and peaceful. Nice view of the bay. There is a murphy bed on the first floor so the cabin can fit four people quite comfortably.

This is a terrific property tucked in amongst the tall trees with water views. Direct access to the beach just a hundred yards away is a bonus! The house itself is an interesting and very comfortable two story log home with a scenic side porch for morning coffee or evening cocktail. This place is a wonderful destination in and of itself.

This was a perfect stay for a slumber party as 3 adult women celebrating a birthday. It was quiet, peaceful, clean and easy to find. The bed upstairs was super comfy!! We walked down to the waterfront for about an hour and just enjoyed the space. Something to note is that the cabin sits on a hill behind other larger houses. We didn’t quite understand that and felt like we were intruding but no one seemed to mind us there. Beautiful property! I would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Really need to revise the description of the property. It’s listed as “2 queen beds”. There’s ONE queen bed, and a Murphy bed that requires a separate request of the host to prepare. It’s misleading. The property is listed as “breakfast included”, but there’s only cold cereal and a pint of milk. That’s all. No toast, nuthin else. cereal and a pint of 2%.

Amazing stay!!

We had such a nice stay in the Heron House! The bed was very comfy, and both bathroom and kitchen were well stocked. We really enjoyed the view and appreciated how supportive they were with our check-in. This was the best stay of our trip and we will absolutely seek it out again for future trips to Shelton.
