The bed was very loud and felt broken. Rooms dont have the best views. Staff was amazing, the food at aquarius was great. Hotel was very clean and kept up. Would stay here again but would also like to try other resorts on the island

We stayed at ocean suites, I’m still trying to grasp what the hype is all about at this hotel. First time in Aruba, have visited many different islands over the years. Favorite things 1. flamingos on renaissance island 2. Most of the staff was extra nice and friendly 3. Cabanas - extra $500 but need to be booked months in advance 4. Safe Now onto the major issues 1. This place is advertised on Travelocity as all-inclusive, it is not sold on here as all-inclusive you pay for only the hotel room. We were greeted with a $2,300 bill for the all-inclusive option, great start to any vacation. 2. Private island is directly across from the airport, If you’re looking for a remote and QUIET location this place isn’t for you - there are planes taking off several times an hour which are heard from both the hotel beach/pool as well as renaissance island 3. Room AC was on 24/7 no matter what temp it was set too. So two modes - either super noisy or off. We decided to turn it off for the night so that we’d get some sleep. Once you do that you hear every single noise around. 4. Basically two restaurants or a buffet for dinner choices if you don’t count the poolside bar. LG steakhouse menu is very overrated, Fresco was great if you want to eat there every night 5. Skip the breakfast package and def the all inclusive package so many exclusions and many restaurants nearby that offer better food 6. View is pool view with a slight glimpse of the sea even when you upgrade to oceanfront

The resort is phenomenal. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. It was also our first time in Aruba. All the staff was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. The island the resort owns is quite spectacular. There is a lot to do on the island. The island is also very clean. I highly recommend this resort. My husband and I have no complaints.
