When we got to the hotel they told us they did not have any rooms available It was booked and paid for two weeks prior no help giving a idea where to stay. Will not go back.

My original booking was not “available” but we ended up getting a handicap accessible room in its place. When we first arrived in the evening, the parking lot was pitch black. I could not see my luggage in my trunk. I did not feel safe as a woman, with my daughter because you could not see a thing. I’ve never been to a hotel where there were absolutely no lights on to greet customers in the evening. I mentioned to the gentleman at the front desk and he said they don’t turn them on in the summer?!?! First of all, it’s not summer, it’s February. And secondly, you should have them on every evening, no matter what the season is. This is for the safety of all your customers. He did put them on (only b/c I mentioned) and what a difference! I would choose another property most likely in the future.

First of all I realize that check in was not until 3pm. However, I arrive at 1:45 in hopes a room was ready. I was informed no room was ready and could not check in till 3. So my wife decided to sit in the lobby and wait. I saw 3 people able to check in early. So I went and inquired and was told that because I booked thru Expedia I could not check in until 3. And the people I saw get rooms book directly from Holiday inn. Do Expedia know there are hotels with this policy? Second, the hotel lost power this early this morning and because of my 8am appointment I was unable to shower. No type of compensation at all. I will never stay at another holiday inn.

Unfortunately my experience at this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, the keys did not work, I had to go to the front desk three times before it was resolved. There was no hot water, and the following day the water was completely shut off until 6:00 p.m. The staff said all rooms had been notified, but my room was not informed that there would be no water. The only call I received was to say what time the water would return, not to warn about the outage. Additionally, the staff member who checked me in said he had no information about the water issue, as he had been off for several days and had just returned to work.

Tuesday – Arrival. After getting ready to shower and lie down for the night, we noticed the shower head was not working; we had only cold water from the faucet, no hot water. The manager stated that they are working to resolve the issue and that it should be resolved within the hour. Wednesday, the next day, upon waking to a shower or hot water still not working, I requested a room change, as all three rooms on three different levels were experiencing the same issue: no water from the shower head, barely any cold water from the faucet, and still no hot water. We were told someone would be there at 1000 to fix the issue. We arrive back at the hotel later in the evening to find the problem has not been resolved. Thursday. If I leave, they will reimburse me for the room; however, it may take a few days to receive the money. We did not have enough funds to stay in another hotel, wait for reimbursement, and continue our vacation, so we opted to stay at a hotel without a working shower or hot water, knowing we would be reimbursed at the end of our stay. Friday – Saturday, no working shower, barely working faucet with only cold water. Sunday – Departed, I was told I would be reimbursed 50% by the managers later in the day, when they arrive. This was said to me by the desk clerk on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning, when we departed. The receipt they gave does not show a 50% reimbursement. This has been the worst IHG stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

The short, front desk man was not the very personable. Idk, he may have just been having a bad day. We did not have hot water for 2 out of the 3 days that we stayed there. Upon checkout, we were told that we would receive some money back or a discount for the inconvenience. Still waiting on that. The free breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms were definitely appreciated. However, we will not being staying here again.
