I never leave reviews, and I don’t consider myself a very picky person, but I would give this place zero stars if I could. A lot happened in our booked two night stay, so I’ll sum it up very briefly. First night, we get to the room, no A/C. Front desk guy basically says tough luck since the manager wasn’t there, and they can give us a new room tomorrow night. We got no sleep due to the heat of the room. (Side note, the neighbors banged on our in-between door for blowing up an air mattress because the door doesn’t stop any noise.) That morning they tell us the same thing, that we’d get a new room that night. We get back from universal at like 11pm, and they told us someone fixed our A/C, but we had already packed up and moved all of our stuff from the room that morning. So we bring our stuff back to the room, just to see the A/C still doesn’t work, and not to mention, the room wasn’t cleaned at all. They then try moving us to another room, but we end up walking in on a sleeping couple, because that room was occupied. At this point, we just get a full refund and go somewhere else. This place is cheap, yes, and there’s a reason. Spend the extra bit of money and go somewhere nicer.

This review is for the easy going folks who are easy to please… was a decent spot in a good area but definitely a loud environment. Your only separation between you and the next room is one small wall not even a divider. And the breakfast is $11 per person every morning. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the room it’s not bad. But I definitely don’t recommend it if you are a light sleeper. Trust me. If you’re sensitive to noise don’t do it.

Terrible experience

Our experience at this property was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, one of the beds appeared to have bed bugs, and there was blood on the mattress protector. Additionally, while attempting to adjust the hot water in the shower, the knob fell off. As a result, all three of us were forced to sleep in the second queen bed. During the night, we encountered another issue with the air conditioning unit, as we were unable to turn it off, leaving the room at an uncomfortable 62 degrees with minimal blankets. Moreover, there was no available parking at 11:00 PM. On a positive note, the location of the property was convenient, as it was in close proximity to Universal Studios.

The maintenance of the building was good and the curb appeal was good but the fact that it’s a motel right next to the highway was not ideal. It was very noisy at night with the traffic. For that reason alone I would not stay there again.

Great location

The property looked to be recently renovated but had rust on things like the lamps, ironing board and luggage rack. Very quiet, bathroom was huge and the location was perfect. All in all it was a pleasant spot.
