Breakfast was decent (Wish there was more seating options). Hotel to Universal was a plus! Rooms look to being the process of being updated - bathroom and tub are def a little out of date (loose fixtures) but otherwise clean and decent. The hallway carpeting is an odd choice.

On the + side: - The property is located close to downtown and is close to many attractions, dining options, and shopping. - The free breakfast is good. - Plenty of parking is available. On the - side: - The property is run down and needs to be upgraded and modernized. - There was a fishy odor in my room. I bought an air freshener to deal with it. The location is good for short stays.

The floor boards were rusty, the room smelled awful. The sheets had signs of blood stains and had hair on them. I didnt even feel comfortable taking my clothes or shoes off.

Staff was friendly on property. Room was dirty and bath tub was very dirty. Mold on ceiling in bathroom, rusted door frames and touch up paint in room didn't match. A+ location, but rooms / bathrooms need to be updated and clean! No housekeeping service at all during my 5 night stay and had 2 bath towels...good I was traveling alone.
