We had issues with the TV in the room. We made several attempts to get it working, then took the remote to the front desk thinking that it needed batteries. The front desk clerk gave us a remote that was not compatible with the tv. Finally after several trips he came down and got the tv and remote working. He was not at all pleasant about it. The room was not very clean. The tub was dirty. The breakfast selection was OK, but the quality was average. There were no seats available as people were using the tables as work stations. We ended up taking our food back to our room to eat. I would not return to stay at this property again.

My family and I booked a stay expecting to enjoy the amenities, especially the pool, but when we arrived we were told it was under maintenance and to speak with the manager the next day. The manager, Shayla, informed us the pool would actually be closed for the entire duration of our stay. I asked if we could be moved to a partner hotel, and while she said she would try, nothing was arranged. We were offered the option to use a pool at another hotel, but that would have required paying for transportation back and forth, which was not reasonable for us. When I calmly expressed my disappointment, I was threatened with being asked to leave and refused service — all in front of my young children, which was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. We were told two nights of our stay would be comped, but we have not received anything. On top of that, the rooms were not clean and overall customer service was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying here.

When I got to the hotel, they stated my reservation was cancelled by Travelocity. Travelocity confirms, they did not cancel my reservation. There was a large nascar race about three hours from this hotel and I am guessing the front desk sold it for more money than they would have made from my reservation. The front desk clerk would not meet me in the eye or even talk to me about my canceled reservation. I ended up staying three hours from the airport and paying over a thousand dollars for a one night stay. This was the worst hotel situation I have ever experienced and will never stay at this property or recommend it to anyone.
