If you love cats and shopping, you must stay here. Walking distance to Japanese street food. Very good location. Will stay here again next time when we visit Osaka.

The 6-8 pod room has views onto the cat shelter attached. My teen kids loved watching the cats through the windows. There are curtains for privacy. The room & private bath was clean and super fun for a night. Comes with access to lounge in adjacent hostel (which we did not need to use). Ladies at cat shelter very friendly and my kids could play with the cats for an hour as part of the room rental. Highly recommend if you love cats and want accommodation that is a bit different!
