This is the third time we have stayed in Mario's condo. We have always found the unit to be clean and it is very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and you can find things like salt/pepper, tinfoil, saran wrap etc. There is a large foldable cart in the closet that lets you easily bring your belongings to and from the unit - especially handy if you purchase lots of local wines and have heavy boxes. The lakeshore walkway is just outside the unit and there are a couple of small sand beaches very close by with a bench or picnic tables. you can also take the provided camp chairs to the private dock and enjoy watching the boaters and birds pass by as well as see fish jumping. One year, we had a great views from here of the northern lights. The deck is great to take in the sunset and has nice views of the lake and the neighboring hills. The pool has opened early for two of the three years we have been here - both years had warm temperatures early in May. This is a quiet neighborhood with easy access to town for groceries, restaurants and interesting local shops. Many wineries are nearby. Check out the Nk'Mip Desert Culture Centre which is close by and Home Hardware - great for gifts , garden decor and kitchen gadgets. Mario is a great host!
