Ostia Antica Holiday Packages

The property and facilities were very good. Upon arriving from our cruise port around midday we enquired about check-in and we’re told 3pm. When I politely asked about the possibility of an early check-in, without even looking at the bookings or cleaning schedule I was given a resounding “No” which I thought was a bit harsh. We we told we could we could spend some time at their buffet lunch, at €22, which was very nice. At 7.30 we decided to go to their restaurant for a quick dinner and we’re advised that the restaurant was completely booked, and the next availability was at 9pm which didn’t suit us as our friends had a very early flight the next morning. The restaurant was almost empty, and there were only 4 people in there. Having being advised that all tables of four were booked for 8pm, and it was only 7.30, I advised the Maître Di that we would be very quick as we wanted to be back in our rooms early. He apologised and said there was nothing he could do and suggested we order Dine-in, at an additional €18 per person surcharge on top of our meal price. We felt this was outrageous and my friend spoke to a gentleman in reception who, after hearing about our situation reduced it to €18 per room. As our room was close to the restaurant we were required to walk through the restaurant to go anywhere within the complex. Loved this accomodation. Ensure you find and take shuttle from airport, as no one else wanted to take us there, which is crazy. Absolutely LOVED this stay.

Met our needs. Clean and tidy. fine for a stop over. Shuttle serviced to airport was convenient and vague for money also.

The place was clean quiet and friendly and very convenient if you have to fly out again the next day.
