The hotel is nice, we come for the Kōena Spa which is lovely. We tried to order a balcony in advance but they don't allow that for some weird reason. You literally have to show up first and read for one. Shouldn't you be able to plan that in advance and get one if you reserve it?? I think you should! Since my childhood I've always wanted to stay at the chateau. Its aged. Wallpaper peeling, floors in the room wete scratched, view from the room reminded me of the hotels age. Bigger issue was the $50 charge to use the pool per person per time. I understand its part of the spa but as a guest you should have access to the pool. Also parking was difficult because of non guest parking.

Nice place to stay.

The hotel was clean. Good fitness room. Did not use spa but it looked nice. No shampoo in bathroom. A bottle of conditioner with a broken pump in shower. Glad I had my own. Overall a 7.5 out of 10.
