The rooms are simple and very clean. We had a ground floor room facing the river. Outstanding! Lovely seating areas to watch the wildlife on the river. We saw a beaver, muskrat, mallards, wood ducks, blue jays, geese, crows,etc. A short drive into town for food or to the beach (gorgeous). The room had a shower/bathtub combo, DVD player, live TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a kettle. Free wifi. We would definitely book again!

Nice and quiet place. Kayaks and boats are included with the stay. Waterfall up the river. Close walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

I'm handicapped and the property is really not accessible. It was really difficult for me to get back and forth with my walker. The property is really beautiful. It's right on the water.

What an enjoyable stay!

This place needs some love: more comfortable bed, night stand where it should be, extra countertop, etc. Despite these we’ll definitely return for many amazing reasons but will be more logistically prepared! Thanks to Charlene and family for the warm hospitality!

Urine smell

Location..about 10mins walk to Sauble Beach, very convenient. Staff are friendly however we were not so comfortable on our stay. The a/c was just a portable a/c and was not enough to make the whole room cool. It was warm in the bedroom coz the a/c was in the living room.Also the room smelled of urine. When we first got in the room, I thought it was just a funny smell probably from some cleaning chemicals. However when we got back after some time we're out for a swim, it was clearly urine smell. It wasn't coming from the bathroom as bathroom was clean. The office was already closed so we got nowhere to complaint. The following day I told one of the staff about it. I was told the family who occupied the room prior us has small kids so maybe they made a mess. There was no resolution offered so I just asked for a disinfectant spray, it may help. I was then given an air freshner spray, that's all they had. We then had to endure the smell for another night. On our 3rd day which is our check out day, I spoke to the lady who checked us in, she was aware of my concerns but instead of apologising, she told me there were no kids prior us, and she can't believe the room smells. As for the a/c she thought we closed the bedroom door that's why we felt warm in the bedroom. Well we didnt close the bedroom door but it was still warm and uncomfortable. It would have been nice if there was at least an apology. But we didnt receive any.We stayed at Evergreen room.

Was a great stay our family enjoyed the use of the free water toys such as paddle boats paddleboards....the dock for swimming in the river...the patio soace and firepit was great...and watching the wildlife on the river daily. Was close to beaches ect.

The outdoors and the view were incredible, we loved it watching the ducks and birds. Bbq was great outdoor seating was amazing. The room was as comfortable bed was clean, the bathroom could do with an upgrade!
