Fantastic experience amongst the rice paddy. At night you can hear all the insects,birds,crickets etc. It sounded like a meditation relaxation CD.

Loved being able to sit on our veranda and see the rainforest covered valley in front of us. Very little in the way of neighbours or other buildings. Very peaceful (no noise from the road where we were located), and very friendly staff. Ubud central is around 3kms away - so that's a bit of a walk (40 mins or so, which we did a couple of times), otherwise free shuttle three times a day or 70/80k idr one way. Pros and cons with that distance - but we'd take the tranquillity any time. Would certainly recommend to others.
