Fine for a night sleep

Overall the Saddle West was fine. When you first enter the casino it reeks of cigarette smoke so that wasn't pleasant. The check-in process was fine although a friend did have a bit of an issue where they claimed his card CSV number was incorrect (it was not) and they took on a bit of an attitude. The room was fine. My biggest complaint was the lack of outlets to charge my devices. There was one by the sink and one behind the bed (which getting to was a problem). In today's world, this IMO isn't acceptable. There should be easy access to an outlet by the bed. And speaking of the bed, while it wasn't uncomfortable, it was definitely on the old side and someone needing a firmer mattress may have problems. I stayed for two nights, the second night I used the buffet. The food was good and the wait staff friendly. Everything about the place was ok, nothing specially but fine for a location to return to for a night sleep.

Shower hot water was scalding hot and unusable. I requested the hotel to provide another room which they said was unavailable until the third day of my stay. I requested to speak to he manager but he was iff property for three days and my request to call him was denied….No discount on the room or visit even under these circumstances would be accommodated.

Old, broken and missong anemities that it is supposed to have. They disabled my key card after the first two nighta and had to go get new cards. Have to pay to use phoen, even for local calls.. never will stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly. The property needs a serious remodel/update. The bathrooms are from the 80 and extremely run down. With that said, you can tell the staff does their best to keep the place clean.

Our tv did not work even though they so called fix it. There was 3 of us and only gave towels for 2 people for 4 days. We had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days. The property was fine.we loved the casino part. The pool was not In service as thats why we picked that hotel.they could have told us on phone that it wasn’t in service. That really sucked.I probably will never stay there again.

Poor experience. Housekeeping did not clean the room until day 3. Had to go to the front desk for bath towels and coffee. Only a bar of soap as far as toiletries. First and last time we will stay there.
