What a great place to stay! I felt very well welcomed and the facilities were much better than the pictures. Well stay there next time im in the bay.

Nice individual cabins in great location

Pros: Very comfortable, quiet and clean
Cons: Nil
Location: The cabins are easy walking distance to all waterfront activities, shops and restaurants
The cabins are very comfortable with all amenities. Initial climb with luggage may be a bit taxing, however view from cabins across the town and water is very good The pizza from nearby Ruffinos was expensive but the best pizza I have eaten (supreme)!

Paihia resort

Pros: Easy to reach, guest BBQ and laundry. Scenic views and quiet location no cabin overlooks its neighbours also on site parking.
Cons: As the current owners have only just taken over the cabinz's within the last three months they have done an excellent job with updates so far.
Location: Approx 5 minute walk to the harbour, grocery stores, restaurants and easy parking. Access to clean beaches and walking and cycling tracks.
Arrived mid afternoon, met by Ken and Ellie although busy Ken was on hand to help with our cases, Ellie explained how all things worked and informed us of facilites available,and booked tours for us during our stay.. We enjoyed our stay going on several trips using Bay Cabinz motel as a base for our car trips to places of interest further a field Would definitely stay there again when visiting Paihia region.

Lovely and quiet but close to the main street

Pros: Close to the centre of town
Cons: The layout of the rooms could be improved to get better space
Location: Brilliant
Lovely place to stay. Friendly Moteliers - we are definatley coming back

Great hosts! Very nice tidy accomodation. Had a wedding in bay of islands and owners drove us to the ferry as it was pouring with rain.

too many steps

Pros: easy walk to town
Cons: A make over
Location: restaurants and activitys fishing boat tours etc
Disapointing because once you have walked up many steps carrying a bag there was no couch to sit on just dinning chairs. The decor was dated and so was the duvet cover.It was pokey and small.
