The hotel and the view from the balcony was very nice, but we had bed bugs and ants in the room and this destroyed our experience at this hotel. We notified the staff, but the problem was not solved and they have ignored our attempts to contact them after our check out. We left with numerous bites from the bed bugs and we will never return,

Breakfast was bad and to few tables. Had to wait 20 minutes to get table. Lot of insects (ants), got bitten several times. We did not get to separated singel beds like we had booked. Had to organize ourselves. One had to sleep without duvet for to night's before we got one. Bad view form windows. Lot of noise in the evening made it difficult to sleep. Pool area was nice. Staff was nice.

Had an issue with the cleanliness of our room upon arrival. The housekeeping staff were extremely rude when directed by management to rectify, but the management and reception staff were wonderful and did everything they could to make the situation right. Cannot complement them enough and gives me confidence that similar issues will not arise in the future. Breakfast was great and property overall was well-maintained.

The floor in our hotel room was dirty. I had to throw out all my white socks. They could have washed the floor. Maybe that's why they give you slippers. The shower was the most ridiculous shower I ever seen. The whole floor in the bathroom got wet. There are no doors to open up, just a glass wall that covers nothing. You need 10 bath towels just for the floor. The food was the best part. We ate in the restaurant once and ordered room service once.

The hotel is tired and whilst the common areas have been renovated, the same cannot be said for the rooms. Its located 20 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the city and in the evening, the walk is a little sketchy. Our room was a suite and whilst the view out of the front of the property was great, it was not well maintained and had an issue, which resulted in us moving to another room that was just as bad! Some of the staff were friendly, but no information on check in and or assistance on where to go and whats good to do Real shame,
