Lovely place to stay, very close to everything. The room and the pool was clean. There wasn’t sufficient lighting in the rooms, so they were quite dark at night. Check in staff were a bit abrupt, but the other staff (cleaners and handy man) were lovely.

Great location wasted on this place

The location is wasted on this property. The room was clean but with no overhead lighting; the bed is 12” from the air conditioner which made sleeping in the bed a freezing experience such that we turned the air conditioner off which made the room get overly warm. It was a very bad night trying to sleep. The concrete walkways and stay were dirty and did not look like they’d been cleaned in months. The swamp coolers or condensers were filthy and the fins calcified. It’s really not worth staying in these conditions and better to pay more and stay in a decent place. The staff were great and helpful. I’d never ever consider staying here again.

Very good overall experience. Property was well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient location in the midst of lots of shopping and dining. Biggest issue is the air conditioner is loud, making annoying noises beyond those of fan which kept us up.

The property was nice especially for my young ones they have a grass area where the kids were able to play… My only concern was the floor was not that clean as I had my baby barefoot in the room and its black after. One of the bed linens gave me and my dtr itch. We placed a no disturb sign but the room was still cleaned.. nothing was lost so i let it slip and thankful that the room was tidied up… Otherwise we enjoyed our stay… Friendly staff…

The property was clean, the rooms updated. The staff was friendly. I found the rooms to be dark, not enough lighting. The shower water pressure was low, would have taken a long time to wash my hair. The grounds had tons of seating areas. Enjoyed the innovative window coverings allowing me to look out but no one could see in. Overall enjoyed my stay

Convenient to downtown and the airport. Common areas are clean and have been nicely updated. The rooms themselves are badly lacking. Tiling a shower in an old motel does not create a premium property no matter how one attempts to spin it. Noisy air conditioners seem to be original equipment. Stayed a week received only one day of housecleaning service. We won’t return.

Perfect Location, Wonderful Hotel

My stay with friends at this hotel was perfect for all five of us. The rooms are clean and well-kept by the staff. It is an older hotel so the rooms are small but decorated pleasantly and are very comfortable. The staff booked our three rooms adjacent to one other in order to facilitate our meeting together. Pool and all facility amenities were perfect for our stay. Lobby is very spacious and well-appointed with coffee, juicesd and fruits every morning. No restaurant on premises, but several restaurants very close by. This location in Palm Springs is close to everything and is pet friendly! Our stay couldn't have been better!

The staff at the Dunes were great - really friendly and responsive. The rooms, though, are poorly ventilated, stuffy, the A/C units very loud and the only windows open onto a walkway so shades have to be down and windows closed.

Very pleased with my stay

I was very happy with my stay at the Dunes. It looked clean and modern, and it was evident that updates had been made recently. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of seating. The location was also great -- a short walk to downtown, and there was an excellent grocery store right across the street. My one minor complaint was that the workout room was small and limited in its offerings.
