Arrived at 4pm check in time and waited in line for 2hours just to be told I will receive a call when my room was ready again check in is 4pm I had to wait 2 hours 6pm to be told pre-check in was complete and I will receive a call when room was ready. I never received a call from the property staff so finally at 8pm I went back ( keep in mind it’s late and I have my family with children and no where to go) and had to wait 3 hours to finally get a key to a room. Are you kidding me 11:00pm is when I got a key and check in is at 4pm…..This is unacceptable and inconsiderate to all paying customers.

They didnt have a room available when we got there at 3:30. We were told by 4. We went to eat and then returned at 4:45. Still no room available. We then decide to walk on the beach until they called us, which ended up being after 6pm. The air conditioner filter was so dirty it wasnt cooling the room. The hotel staff wasnt the friendliest either.

Do not stay at boardwalk beach hotel!!!!

We were over charged, check in time was suppose to be from 12-4 we did not get to check in until after 8 because our rooms were not ready. They said they had a big group and didn’t have time to get our rooms ready. Our rooms were nasty, floors were dirty, room stunk and bath tub was filthy.

I've stayed at some really skeezy hotels and made it work, but this one was rough. I ignored the reviews because I thought, "I've stayed at the worst of the worst, this can't be that bad." I was wrong. Check-in was at 4 o'clock. At six o'clock they told me they'd call me when my room was ready. At 645 I called them and was told I could come pick up my keys. At 7 I arrived and stood in line for three hours. People were angry, people were tired. We got into our room at 10 o'clock Friday evening. We were assured there were two pools. Saturday morning we discovered both were closed. While I was inside inquiring about a refund (which they would not grant) a fight broke out in the food court and they had to call beach police. Not one time during our three day stay did anyone enter our room to take out trash, to clean up, to do anything. We called for toilet paper and they wouldn't bring it. You might think, what's a walk to the lobby to get toilet paper? Well, when the walk is a quarter mile through crack heads and fighting alcoholics, it's rough. If you don't heed this warning and just choose elsewhere, make sure you're inside before dark and you lick your car up. And most of all, good luck to ya. This was horrible and we won't be back ever again. I don't even want to drive by the place again.

If it wasn't for the staff and the way guest were treated. It would have been an excellent stay. Hotel is in a very nice location. Private beach area is awesome. Food at Under the Boardwalk was great. The staff however didn't seem to care about the guests. We were denied parking in an area that was close to our room because they blocked the area off for buses that never came. We are paying guests as well. Check in is stated to be at 4pm but it wasn't until after 6pm that they staryed checking ppl in. We wouldn't book this hotel again. But if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head with excellent beach access. This is a great place.

The worst experience. We arrived at 4pm as we suppose to and stood in line for 1.5 hours just to be told it is only pre-checkup and that room wasn't ready and to come back after 6. Then my husband stood in line again from 6.45pm until about 9.45 pm with excruciating leg pain and without anything to drink after 9 hour drive to get the room. 3 hours more!!! I ended up staying with 2 toddlers and 1 month old baby on the beach alone until after dark waiting on my husband to get back with room key. Our food was ruined, everyone was miserable, baby was overheated. This place ruined our vacation. I didn't get to swim with my husband, he stood in line alone the one day we suppose to be there. No apologies, not even complimentary water. Place ran by temporary visa workers who have no clue on how to solve the situation. On top of that remote in the room wasnt working, fridge was unplugged. We went downstairs to replace the batteries in the remote, and was sent back to wait 45 mins for the maintenance man. Stay away!

We Paid for Oceanside, only see trees and a tiny glimpse of water, pools are green, they make up crazy information at the front desk about getting into a room- Checked in at 3pm- wasn’t given a room until 11pm and no late checkout was given! Very unprepared for guest- even though we booked a month ahead of time!!!! Awful

Check in was at 4 the room wasn’t ready until 10 that night for whatever reason no manager or supervisor on duty to explain the room had mold above the shower and the tv didn’t work at all the pictures will definitely fool you this place terrible

The property looked like it hadnt been cleaned in ages.. there was dirt and hair everywhere in the room. The mattresses were very uncomfortabe. The pool wasnt functional. There were rowdy people around making the stay feel unsafe.the only good point was the location.. close to the beach and good area.

I like the beach, and the pool was nice to. But the cockroaches in the room was definitely not clean the floor was dirty you can literally feel the dirt under your feet. The bedroom liner was wet, and one of the beds had sand beach underneath the blanket…. I also pay for the queen size bed and I get the full size bed. I’m so so sorry for this bad review but I’m really disappointed 😢

I liked that it had a pool & beach available, staff was very kind too! Only issue was our room was dirty, even when we switched rooms. It felt like our room was the beach with how sandy the floor was.

The rooms are not clean. I couldn’t get comfortable. I went and bought my own sheets and blanket just to feel ok at this resort. The air doesn’t work in the hallways and one of the pools was shut down which was very inconvenient.

Checked in as stated on 6/13/25. Was told room would would not be ready until 6pm. I preregistered and came back at 5:50 only to find that at least 100 people were told the same thing. It took 2 1/2 hours of standing in line to finally get a key. I recently had knee replacement and had another guest to get me a chair. Staff was not helpful. Staff at the counter is not friendly. No apologies were made for the mess at checkin. Room was at the top of the building on the farest part away from the elevator. All of this was unexceptable. There is no continatel breakfast. You must pay extra for everything. Worst vacation I have ever taken. The postive: view of the ocea was great. The lightning for the parking lot and the back area is horrible.

It took 8 hours to get checked in. It was 11:30 pm before we got to get in our room. Service was terrible, staff was rude. It was horrible. Lots of people had to wait several hours as well. They only had one pool open. It was never cleaned over the weekend. The other pool was closed because it needed to be cleaned. There is no excuse good enough to make up for them being lazy, and incompetent. No refunds were given. Everyone should’ve been refunded for Friday night. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel before.

We stayed there for 1 night before we could check into our condo, we didn’t have any problems checking in we actually got checked in early but it was HORRIBLE all we could smell was 🍃🍃🍃, the pool wasn’t open, when someone sat on the toilet the whole wall would flex like the toilet was about to rip off the wall, the mattress on the bottom bunk bed was 2” thin it really was just not a great place to stay at all for a family

As a mom, I always try to pick hotels that are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for my family. This place was NONE of those things. First, the check-in process was an absolute disaster. We waited TWO HOURS in line with tired, hungry kids, just to get our room keys. No apologies, no urgency-just a complete lack of organization. Try keeping little ones entertained in a crowded lobby for that long. It was miserable. Then we finally got to our room... and I wish we hadn't. It was filthy. Stains on the carpet, dust everywhere, and the bathroom? I wouldn't let my kids touch anything in there. The sheets looked questionable, and honestly, I didn't feel comfortable letting my family sleep in that room. This hotel is NOT family-friendly. It's poorly managed, dirty, and completely unwelcoming. If you're traveling with kids, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I wouldn't wish this experience on any parent!
