My husband and I stayed at this property to celebrate our 12yr anniversary. The property, customer service and suite were amazing. The hotel is walkable to any great restaurants and shops. Additionally, the sushi and drinks at the lobby bar were delicious as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Checked out a few hours after check in to have my hotel switched. Checked in August 14 for my birthday weekend. After a long day of traveling after check in I went to go jump into a nice refreshing pool, to find out it was a construction site and the pool was closed. No prior notice given for that matter. Drilling noise was taking place while we were in the room for the hour we stayed. Front desk staff didn’t seem to give a crap either. Thank you to Expedia who changed hotels for me last minute without issues.

Our stay was great! Everything was very clean and well-kept, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that the pool was under renovation during our visit, so we couldn’t use it. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Great hotel and location

Great 2 days staying here. Great central location, very helpful and friendly staff, great choice of dining .. only complaint would be one elevator was not working so staying on a high floor was slow going in both directions.

No pool was not inform that the pool was under maintenance before arriving. Give me option to book cause knowing that I would’ve never booked.Also water issue I stay 5 day 3 of them days it was no hot water and it was nights that the water was off. Across the street from the hotel it was a karaoke bar but it was so many rats jumping out the sewages to the trash other than that location was ok. Breakfast was decent nd staff was decent

I recently stayed at Hotel Riu Plaza Panama with a group of seven, and unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing. The breakfast buffet was just okay—some options were decent, but food temperatures were inconsistent, often lukewarm. The building itself has an older smell and is clearly in need of renovation. Elevators are painfully slow, and lines tend to build up, especially on peak travel days like Thursday and Friday. The water situation was the worst part of our stay. The water never got truly hot, and at one point, the pipes busted. We were left without water for hours—no showers, no flushing toilets. When water was restored, it was still cold. The pool was closed for renovation, which was a major letdown, especially since this wasn’t listed on the website. The temperature in the building was inconsistent as well—bearable during the day but not comfortable overall. Customer service left a lot to be desired. One person in our group had to change rooms because of an overflowing shower. While they eventually moved her, it took multiple complaints before action was taken, and accountability seemed lacking throughout our stay. On the positive side, the location is convenient—close to a casino, mall, Starbucks, and other spots within walking distance. The bar was enjoyable and did have some good choices despite its flaws. Overall, this hotel only earns a 2.5 out of 10: • 1 point for location, • 1 point for the bar, • 0.5 for a few decent

Overall, a nice hotel. The place was very clean, and the staff were very polite and nice. However, I didn't like the fact that there was no option for the TV in the room to change the language to English. For the entire stay, we could not watch the TV for this reason. The breakfast is well prepared with a variety of options; we looked forward to breakfast each morning. The restaurant at the pool area is horrible; the food was served extremely cold. We ordered steak, chicken, shrimp, jasmine rice, baked potato, and steamed vegetables, and every single item was cold. It was very, very, very horrible, and because of this, we never went to any other restaurants on the premises.
