Worst Hotel Experience – Overpriced and Dirty I booked a Family Suite, 2 Bedrooms, Sea View at Megapolis Hotel Panamá for 4 nights (Sept 19–23, 2025) through Expedia. I paid $1,132.94 in total, and this has been the worst hotel experience of my life despite such a high price. I was moved through four different rooms, and each one was in unacceptable condition: dirty floors, dusty corners, broken furniture, loose bathroom fixtures, dirty mirrors, and a strong smell of humidity. The hallways and public areas were filthy, and the elevators barely worked. Although the hotel is in a prime location in Panama City, it is extremely neglected and poorly maintained. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, which made everything even worse. I was traveling with my two young daughters, and the environment felt unsafe, unhealthy, and unpleasant for a family. For the price I paid and the room type I booked, I expected at least basic cleanliness and maintenance. Instead, I got a hotel that needs a complete renovation. This property is not what Expedia advertises, and I strongly believe it should be reviewed or removed from the listings. 👉 I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and book somewhere else.

House keeping came in but didn’t clean the room. The toilet paper was removed and never replaced. I advised the front desk and they never sent house keeping. Also the lights when you enter the room didn’t work in multiple rooms. The refrigerator didn’t work either.
