As other reviewers have stated the hotel could use some renovations. There were cracks in the bathroom ceiling, walls showed wear and could use painting; the corridor carpets could be cleaned. Despite these things my room was nice. It was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy, the shower water pressure was very good, and the water was hot! I liked the fridge which kept things cold; however, it would been nice to have a coffee maker and microwave in the room. Considering there is space to prepare meals, that wasn't a big deal, just a slight inconvenience. Two things definitely missing were bed spread or blanket and towels. There were none at all in the room. And when I went to the front desk to request them I only received one bath towel. The next day I requested additional towels but they weren't given to me, and never delivered to my room. Luckily I always travel with a couple of wash towels from home. The last thing missing was a brochure or other info about the hotel and surrounding area. Again, that wasn't a big deal but it would be a nice enhancement to the guedg experience.
All in all my three night stay was very pleasant. The price was great, and the staff were very kind. I was very leased with the experience and would stay there again if ever I need hotel space in Panama City. And I will recommend this hotel to others.
