Tea Tahiti is within walking distance to the market, bus station and centre of town. Thankfully the taxi driver knew the property as it is located on a small side street off a main road and the property has no sign (that I could see) to indicate it is Tea Tahiti. There was some initial confusion about my booking but was pleased to be able to drop off my bag in the morning before reception closed for lunch. The room was clean but had not been renovated any time recently. It was OK for a one night stay and the property provided a transfer to the airport at 6am. There is a small modern supermarket about 60m away.

Rustic but very nice and well located in Papeete

Very nice breakfast fresh fruits breads etc Very nice and accommodating staff we arrived late in the evening and the robe was ready and waiting for us. This hotel is quite rustic, but we enjoyed our stay and a great place to stay right before we boarded a cruise cruise ship.

I booked a room and when I got to the hostel they told me they had already given it to other people and that the system had failed. It was late and I was alone with my daughter in a foreign country. They only offered a simple apology and did not bother to help us to find accommodation at all. Afterwards, I had to go back to get a cancellation letter just to make sure they wouldn’t charge me for the room they did not give me. It was a horrible experience. The hostel itself and the staff were very horrible as well.

Not just a place to sleep for the night!

It was perfect! Hosts were extremely helpful kind knowledgeable and accommodating! We booked at the last minute and they really helped to make it all come together for us! Even had time for a swim in the pool and left with wisdom from the elders! Mahalo Nui Loa!

Good place that is central in town. Pool was nice. Transfers to or from airport were great. They also rent cars for a lot less than at the airport.

The staff are wonderful. The hotel feels like a home. Very convenient to work to city center. The hotel also offers transportation, rent car and tour at a very competitive price. Will stay at this hotel again when I go to Tahiti.

Nice budget spot in a great location in Papeete. Many restaurants and stores in walking distance. Staff were very helpful with us for finding great tours in the area. Can't go wrong for the price. Would definitely recommend.
