Nice B & B with everything you would need. Close to beach, train station to Wellington, & variety of take away/restaurants (enjoyed Ben’s Roasts). Generally very quiet residential neighbourhood; neighbours dog second night was a bit disruptive. Host very helpful & knowledgeable about local area.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable, great shower, and a fabulous area to sit outside for breakfast. Plus a sauna and pool. Simon was a very attentive host throughout our stay of three days. Great location, within walking distance to restaurants and beach. I would highly recommend this B&B.

We had a lovely stay at Simon's bed and breakfast. The room was so clean and had everything we needed including a great continental breakfast with fresh orange juice. Simon was friendly and helpful with suggestions about dining. We highly recommend this place !

Fabulous stay

Fabulous BnB in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check in. A nice quiet location only a few minutes drive to shops and foreshore. Added bonus of the pool and spa. We stayed in the Serengeti suite which was large and spacious

We had a short one night stay at this accommodation. The room was large, beautifully styled, with all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Despite it raining during our stay, we enjoyed a hot spa, and even a brisk but refreshing swim in the large pool. The breakfast was plentiful, with a great range of cereals.

We had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. Impeccably clean and a short walk to the beach. The host kindly provided DVDs and netflix was available on tv. Highly recommend.

Big disappointment

Very noisy, very little privacy. TV too low, and kept cutting out. Bed very small and mattress very hard and lumpy. Didn’t sleep hardly for the two nights there. Upstairs guests thumping around until after 22:00. House looks nice from outside, yard nice, and pool, but hot tub is old and needs a lot of updates and cleaning. Continental breakfast consists of jars of cereals which can be opened by anyone and no telling who’s had access to them. Not very sanitary. Oh and no fresh fruit, two cans of fruit. Did have individual packets of butter and preserves. Did have fresh milk and yogurt. No cookies. Bathroom was nice, good water pressure and comfy robes. Just very small room and not what we had anticipated, from the pictures. No list in room of nearby restaurants or places of interest.
