Bonjour! Yes it was clean (kudos to the cleaners) and staff are nice. We didn’t have time to do spa but my husband was able to use the gym facilities. There were shops nearby that we can buy or shop. Very convenient to go to all tourist spots and the taxi service was excellent. My only comment was that the air condition was not cold enough for us to sleep better. I hope it would be fixed and the refrigerator should be cleaned well coz it was smelly. Other than that I love the place, feels like I’m really in Paris. The interior decoration and the ambiance is up to my taste and so is the smell in the lobby. I would definitely come back and recommend your hotel. Merci!

My stay at Chalgrin was probably one of the best hotel stays ever! Booked for 6 nights. The location was excellent - great neighborhood, a few blocks from l'Arc Triomphe, close to Metro 1 train (which goes to major monuments in the city and connects to all other train routes,) hotel was quiet, clean and safe, breakfast was delicious and Virgimie was a wonderful host who welcomed and served everyone each morning, other hotel staff very accommodating. Short walk to shopping and restaurants/bistros. Was truly a pleasure to stay here and would return on next trip to Paris.

This hotel is located in an amazing area, just a couple of blocks from the Arc and close to 2 main train stations. There's great dining nearby and the hotel has a breakfast option as well. There are two elevators so accessibility is not a problem. Our room was large and spacious; I would have preferred an enclosed bathroom area for more privacy from the bedroom but that is the style of this hotel. There is a private water closet. It would be nice if they had more English channels on the television that were not news oriented; it's nice to be on vacation and not watch the news. I would stay at this hotel again.

the property was great, loved the balcony. The breakfast was amazing, but I found a bed bug crawling around the bed one night after coming back to the room and turning on the lights, being my last night before I left to the airport I didn't sleep at all as to not get back in the bed I got video and pictures of it I had to steam clean all my belonging before getting home to make sure I did not bring any home with me.
