Well-Kept Property with a metal room key

We only had one night at this hotel. It was in good condition, nice staff, and within walking distance of a train line and pretty easy walking distance to the Seine and Louvre. The key is an old school key that you leave at the front desk when you leave and pick it up when you get back. We were worried that we might not be able to get in when we came in quite late, as the front door was locked, but when we rang someone did come and let us in and gave us our key.

Staff was excellent! Great, convenient location for us and we were able to walk to our areas of interest. Breakfast was good and reasonable. Rooms were okay - but noise from adjoining rooms a problem at times.

I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Michelet Odéon. The room was surprisingly spacious for Paris standards and beautifully maintained—comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with directions, recommendations, and anything else I needed. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of many key attractions and very close to two metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and convenient place to stay in Paris!

We just stayed here at the beginning of July for our first trip to Paris and had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean, had a great view and AC which was key in the heatwave!! Staff was all friendly - I liked how you left your key with them when you left so there was never a worry about misplacing it. The area is so ideal, right near Luxembourg Gardens and so many wonderful cafes. Also a short walk to the Seine, Louvre and Notre Dame! Would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

A Hotel to Keep on Our List

This was the second time we've stayed here, and if anything it was even better than we remembered it. It was the best of the three hotels we stayed in during our trip. We got a superior double room which gave us some extra space to manoeuvre without getting in each other's way. There was adequate hanging space and shelves for clothing and belongings. Beds were very comfortable. And the bathroom was positively gleaming; I was impressed by the overall cleanliness. Location is certainly a big factor. We love staying in the 6th arrondissement, close to the Luxembourg Gardens. We stopped a couple of times at the cafe just opposite the hotel, in front of the theatre. The room was quiet-- never any problem with noise from the street or cafe. We had breakfast one of our days there. Reasonably priced with various choices. We probably would have eaten there more often, except we have a favorite cafe for breakfast in the neighborhood.

Staff helped us check in early after we took the early morning train from London. They were always attentive and friendly. High level of customer service. Wonderful area close to metro and many great Paris cafes, dining options yet away from overly busy tourist areas. Happy to get the family suite - could close door between bedrooms. A/C and water pressure were good. Hair dryer in room and iron available upon request. Happy to see our $$ paid for well-maintained, modern rooms and friendly, informed staff. (We don’t care about a big lobby or on site dining and fitness center, etc.). Extremely pleased with this stay, which was our first time in Paris for this couple and older teen. Would stay here again.

Right next to Odéon theatre though we didn’t see a show. The location was relatively convenient. There were places to eat nearby. Staff very helpful in stowing bags until we could check in. Didn’t check out breakfast as we wanted to check the area out.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel - I would definitely stay again! It was out first time to Paris, booking with 0 prior experience. The main thing - if you are visiting in the summer months, it is hot and miserable in Paris. And the French for some reason do not believe in air conditioning. That is HUGE! Another plus is location - it's a 15-20 min walk to Louvre and Notre Dame. minutes to metro, bus stops, many restaurants, and shopping. Perfect location! The hotel is very safe. You have to leave your room key with staff when you leave and get it when you are back. they lock the doors at night, and there is always someone at the front desk. Staff are wonderful, so nice and helpful! The rooms are small, but it is expected in Europe. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this is not it. But if you are looking for an affordable place to stay while you explore Paris, I would highly recommend! LOVED IT and will stay there again if we come back.
