The room needed a bit of tic; the towel warmer was rusting and the screw covers were missing, there was a cracked wall tile behind the toilet, the bottom of the door was water damaged, and there were multiple stains on the carpet. Reception staff were great; some restaurant staff were a bit surly. We went down late morning for coffee when the restaurant was being cleaned after the breakfast service. We were served coffee, but the cleaning continued in close proximity, which wasn’t necessary. They should’ve just declined to give us coffee. I stayed in Mana Luxembourg in April and it was a much better experience. At night the noise from the restaurant was terrible, Christmas parties in progress, but really disruptive to guests on the first floor.

The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom shower was just perfect! What more would you need?! Thank you Mama Shelter for being the cozy shelter for my one week stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating too!

Really enjoyed the location. 5 minutes from the metro. Quiet neighborhood with a few grocery stores and some nice eats, even late into the evening. The room is small for more than 2 and I wasn’t fond of the electrical cords being strung out on the wall. But would definitely recommend to 1-2 occupants as long as they’re ok snuggling up at night. Will visit again if I’m not with the fam!

Mama Shelter Paris East was absolutely fine. The room was quite noisy, sat on the main road and over the main door to the hotel. The air con in the room was very loud all night and making the ceiling panels vibrate so we needed to use ear plugs to sleep. The double room was two single beds on the bed frame so they kept slipping off the frame. Absolutely fine for a short city break, but not somewhere you’d want to spend loads of time. Thankfully Alexandre Dumas tube stop is very close by with easy connections into the city.

A modern and cool hotel near to good bars and cafes. A trendy bar with dancing if you want that. They even have a roof terrace. Tiny with air con not being great but overall would recommend and return.
