Hotels on the Lake in Paynesville

Katisha cottage is a quaint comfortable cottage with only a 450m walk to the foreshore and shops. It has a great yard that was ideal for our pooch. Our only complaint is the company managing the property cannot be contacted after hours. This was an issue because the hot water system had run out of gas on the second day of our trip. I texted the emergency contact mobile number from the handbook in the evening (Friday) and when I received no reply I rang the next day only to find it was not working. I replied to their checkout email explaining our issue and still haven’t received a reply.We were disappointed because we had 2 nights of a 3 night stay without hot water for showers and washing up.

Everything was perfect and as described (if not better!). Lakefront apartment with the most stunning views. I wished we had more time to spend just sitting overlooking the water as it was so serene and peaceful. Easy check in, functional kitchen, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wouldn’t definitely return!
