Final review for the Hampton Inn

Check-in process was quick and simple. The room was clean. The door to the room was hard to open and also had to be forced shut. The door latch looked like it had once been tampered with and never fixed after that. The shower doors open backwards so you get wet turning on the shower. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the hallway of the 4th floor and other areas in the hotel. We questioned the front desk the next morning about the marijuana smell and to our surprise she was shocked to hear about such an odor, there was no way that the employees did not recognize what was taking place. As we were talking about the situation to her, another patron walked by and overheard and said “you must be talking about the weed smell” we said yes and he said “the 6th floor is terrible.” The front desk attendant said she would speak the her manager and get it taken care of. So the smell later that day was some kind of air freshener mixed in with pot smoke, so I guess they looked into it and just tried to cover up the smell, unsuccessfully. We had to go to the front desk twice for towels and request room service. We received room service once for a 5 night stay and that was on night 4. We probably won’t return to this hotel for our annual trip to Valley Forge

We enjoyed our stay.. we love hampton inns. The only thing we didnt like was to get a shower .. to turn on the water.. it was stuck and it took 2 hands and all the power you have to turn it on.. and because you had to get into the shower to turn it on your either got dowsed with ice cold water or scalding hot water because the level didnt turn easily Thanks Lori Custer

No hot water, Luke warm at the best. Moved to another room that I thought would have hot water, still didn’t. New room carpet was very sticky by the bed. There is no way housekeeping could have missed this when making the bed, they didn’t care and management doesn’t quality check their work.

Nice stay

I was a little worried by the inexpensive rate, but this hotel did not disappoint. Very nice for a short, convenient stay. Staff were awesome and very helpful.

This is another one of those hotels that has two people working the entire facility, out of the six floors there were maybe two working ice machines. I told the staff that the tires on the luggage carts needed inflating some guy came out kicked it once and walked away and they were nearly flat, heck I would have inflated them myself. Noisy freeway and streets so there's no quiet side. Front desk guys were nice.
