Book this hotel! Location is amazing. You are steps from the beach and located near many restaurants and shops. The restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic! Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, great amenities and perfect for our stay. You will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing stay at the Coral Inn hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated near bars and restaurants and cross over the road and your on the beach. Will definitely be returning.

Great location & a super effective staff

Location , location,location combined with caring staff make your stay at the Coral Inn a great experience. My wife & I spent 15 days at this location enjoyed every second. A few issues occurred with the room however immediately rectified

Ok for a few nights, noisy and small

+ room was clean + Breakfast was ok (choice of either American or Asian breakfast) + Location is good, close to Beach, close to eateries + Check in was fast + Attached restaurant seems to be decent in general + Daily beach towels as part of the room service + Has fridge - no elevator - somewhat noisy at night regardless of which room you get, however you will be able to sleep - aircon has on/off mode for higher temperatures, which is odd - if you look or the window you get a nice electric buzz sound as there is a high voltage line right in front of half of the rooms - bathroom small and weird structure - smaller sized room in general but ok - no place to hang/dry the swimming clothes

Great location

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. Apart from needing a few minor repairs the room was clean, comfortable and the hotel is in a good location. It was very reassuring to know we were coming back here after a long day. No hot water for shower though. We found the restaurant food very small portions and quality slightly under average. Staff were great!

Great beach and shopping location.

Well located on Karon Beach. Nice ocean view. Very clean. Extremely friendly staff. We stayed here 3 nights and would highly recommend this hotel.

I felt cheated

The hotel was not bad overall. My main complaint being that I rented a room specifically with a balcony and a view. There was neither, just a window looking straight into a wall. The management was unable to do anything about it.

Good beachside property

The property is located right in front of Karon beach. Karon beach us just across the road. This is the major benefit of this property. The staff is also very friendly and always have smile on face. But this is not a hotel it's an Inn. It does not have traditional hotel amenities like gym, pool, big lobby etc. Breakfast is provided at their restuaurant located next door.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the staff is very friendly and the owner/boss is very nice and upgraded us to a ocean view room. When you first get to the place it doesnt seem like a hotel because front lobby is always locked and nobody is ever there as they also own the restuarant next door and staff is always there. No AC in the lobby very hot, only 3 story hotel so no elevator. Wifi is not good. The 4 nights we were there we Moved 3 different rooms. The first upgraded room was infested with ants so they moved us to a different room. The next we moved back to the same room after it was cleaned, then the AC stopped working so we were moved again to different room. The location is excellent, very central. Everything is close by. The hotel is very safe and secure as you need your key card to enter the lobby then key to enter the stairway. Overall it was an ok stay for the value and the staff made it very welcoming. 3/5

Not what we expected!

lack of anyone in reception, no hot water for 2 days, no TV signal for all our 3 nights. Karon not a great Thai town, even most shop signs in Russian! just about tells you all you need to know! More Blackpool than Phuket and not for us. Cut time short and went back to Bangkok

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, very clean

I would have to say this is one of the best in karon. The staff made all the difference! Very friendly and went out of there way to Make me feel welcome. Very clean rooms and modern that make you feel like your in a 5 star resort. I have to make a shout out to the owner and staff of coral inn for making my stay one of the best in Phuket.

Patio door doesn't lock might get murdered

I got into the hotel room turned around and walked out. Dodgy dodgy dodgy patio door had been jimmied with a screwdriver from on the patio then I looked closer and you could gain access to the patio from hotel roof. So room couldn't be locked with you asleep or when you went out and have your stuff in the room. Also waited 20 minutes for someone to even turn up at the front desk. I went elsewhere and took the hit and lost my money.
