Old hotel far from Kata

Pros: View
Cons: Everything
I searched for a hotel near Kata and the Secret Cliff Hotel came up as a possible selection. Price etc was good so booked. When we arrived it was nowhere near Kata. The hotel is very old and run down. The only good thing was the view.

Very nice area away from hussle and bustle.

Beautiful tropical setting, with gorgeous gardens, and the views are breathtaking. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Oil massage was wonderful followed by ginger and honey drink. Will stay again

Beautiful area. Quiet, pieceful. Short taxi ride to Patong or Kata beaches. Great views in villa, although very steep hill to walk up and down (if you dont arrange courtesy cart to pick you up each time). Beautiful pool, not huge, sufficent and refreshing. Restaurants were good. Very asian style breakfast, but tasted great. Staff were wonderful.

Cons: On check out we were accused of stealing a book from the room that was not there upon check in! We were charged 250 baht! I was disgusted bein accused

Pros: The view from the rooms!!
Cons: Everything looked tired and in need of attention, it looks like it used to be a great resort but they have let it go.
