CHUCKELLI FARM's COZY COTTAGE

I am unable to respond from July 13th-19th, 2025. I will get back to you as soon as I am able:) Escape to our cozy cottage, nestled on two beautifully maintained acres shared with the main house. This charming, standalone retreat offers the perfect place to unwind. The property features over 60 fruit trees, two friendly cats, a small dog, and a few chickens—giving it a peaceful, country feel.

The fully fenced property offers privacy and security with a gated entrance and code. We can accommodate up to two vehicles, and the cottage is just a short walk down a garden path from the parking area.

Conveniently located in the heart of Placerville, we’re close to shopping, the Placerville Fairgrounds, local wineries, Apple Hill, and skiing. Downtown Placerville is just minutes away and full of great dining, shops, and entertainment.

We’re animal lovers and welcome your well-behaved pup! Just a couple of requests: please don’t leave pets unattended, and be sure to clean up after them. We’ll provide a water bowl and biodegradable waste bags to make things easy.

Adorable, quiet and comfortable. Small, but cozy. Didn't miss having a TV! Has enough other amenities that you shouldn't want for anything. Plus, there are many convenient stores within minutes. The grounds are lovely and Sunny & Cher, the two cats, will keep you company as you sit outdoors, relaxing. Or feed the chickens, they'll appreciate it. It was a pleasure meeting the owners. Peaceful getaway

Chuck and Kelli were great hosts. I needed an iron, and Kelli provided it right away. We had everything we needed...coffee maker, refrigerator, comfy bed, charging stations, guide on what to eat and where to visit. Sweetie Pies was a great recommendation for breakfast on Main St. We went there twice! The property is filled with fruit trees, chickens, two kitties, and a lovely patio. If we go back to Placerville, we'll definitely stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuckelli Farms, the property was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and attentive, while still giving us privacy and space. The location was near shopping and restaurants, but far enough away where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We highly recommend a stay here!

"Lovely, just....lovely." beautiful property, beautiful cottage. Chuck and Kelli thought of everything! So much charm and warmth. The whole process from start to finish was effortless. Well, atmospheric rivers were pounding California just north of us, but we were graced with cold air, a bit of daytime rain as we explored the Hard Apple Route. We ended with a stroll on Placerville's Main Street *The Hardware Store; *Fountain & Tallman Museum!!! Oh, and a Happy Hour at Poor Red's. Rain fell all night on the cozy cottage while we were snug in our bed. It was all so special ~ thank you to the hosts!

LOVED, LOVED this Cottage

Loved this Cottage it was amazing just as described. It is decorated so darn cute everything was perfect. Thanks for the snacks. The sheets were really soft and smelled amazing and yes, we will be coming back again too. I even feed the chickens which I never had so that was fun too. Perfect getaway for a night of quiet

I’m a mom of three kids, and told my husband that all I wanted for Mother’s Day was a night to myself, full of self care and good sleep. This cozy cottage was more than I ever expected. I loved the antiques incorporated into the decor and farmhouse feel. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor environment was charming and inviting. The hostess was communicative and kind.
