The wait staff in the main restaurant and bartenders at pool 2 were not the nicest we've encountered in Mexico. Additionally, we had one "security" member hanging around us at the pool each day. He had a generally displeased look on his face. He also made us turn off our little portable speaker, which we only played clean easy listening types of music. No one around us complained, in fact most complained that we had to turn it off. This happened a few different times over our stay. Our stay was fine but we most likely will not be back.

The rooms and other areas of the hotel were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. DO NOT get the all-inclusive package at this hotel. There are only two small restaurants open for dinner and it was very difficult to get reservations. The food at the buffet was good for breakfast but very bad for dinner, so you will want to eat at the nicer restaurants. The staff tried very hard to accommodate us, but there were too many people compared to the number of available seats, so there was not much they could do. I would not go back to this property until they build another sit-down restaurant.

Fantastic stay at Royal Haciendas. The service and cleanliness of the resort was excellent. The food quality seemed to be better than most other similar resorts.The main dislike is the availability of the nice restaurant reservations. We were only able to get a 9PM reservation for the next day. They give preference to their members - which I understand. The beach was good. They did their best to remove the seaweed. The north side beach has eroded away and is unusable. However, we had no issues using the south side. Overall, it was an excellent, five-star stay.

We were told everything in the room fridge was ours, we didn't realize we were being charged for it. A miscommunication. Our concierge wasnt very helpful in booking reservations for us at the restrauants. Once we were there we didn't hear from him. We would pass him on the property. Everything else was wonderful!!!!!!!!

Fabulous all around spring break spot for family of four- with children 6 and 12 years old. Relaxing and lots fun at the same time :) Very clean!

The pools were nice and the rooms were clean. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. The food was good but had limited options for dinner restaurants. All in all it was a good hotel for the all inclusive factor and price point.

We were a family of 6 and it seemed to be just right for our demographic. There wasn't a bunch of partying, but it was still fun for everyone. They had things to do for all of us and overall the food buffets were good and had variety. Like many other reviews have stated, the a la carte restaurants are pretty hard to get a reservation in, but we managed to eat at both ones and they were pretty good. Also, the beach was a bit disappointing because of the erosion, but we made the best of it and still swam. The staff made a big effort to ensure that we could at least hangout at the beach and enjoy it. The Spa was great and we enjoyed the couples massage. Our kids did the fish treatment which they got a kick out of. Our room was perfect, we got both sides, which they call an "A&B" suite. Very spacious and clean. We tipped with pesos to most of our servers and cleaning staff and they really appreciated it and went the extra mile. Overall, the Royal Haciendas is a great family "cookie cutter" type all inclusive that you won't regret at all.
