Hotels on the River in Pocono Mountains

This was a nice property, and our room was wonderful. The downside was that we were on one far end of the property and the only coffee shop was on the very far other end. They provided coffee in the rooms but you would think if you’re paying $300 a night for a room they could at least give you real creamer instead of the little packets dry powder creamer, it’s not like they can’t afford it. Yes, there was a “robot “to make coffee that was closer to us, but I would rather have a real person. Also there was no microwave in the room, and when you don’t eat all of your food from dinner, it would be nice to have a microwave to heat it up instead of having to throw it away

Great place for families, especially if you have kids! There are lots of activities and entertainment for children, which makes the stay really enjoyable. My main complaints were about the room. The TV was above the fireplace and the screen had a strong purple tint, probably from the heat, so it was difficult to watch. The pillows were very uncomfortable and too firm, the mattress wasn’t great, and the mattress protector had several tears. Other than those issues, everything else was good. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars and would recommend it for families.
