The primary caption was a bit misleading. We thought it was a house on the beach, with the caption being "BEACH FRONT HOUSE" not part of an apartment building across the street from the beach, partially overlooking a parking lot. We overlooked the fact that the listing does say apartment, and I didn't realize this until after arriving there. Perhaps some exterior photos of the place would be a bit more helpful. Immediately upon entry the place smelled like cat urine to me, and mold to the other guests, and was not very clean at all. There was jack hammering going on above us while we checked in, and it continued on during our second day. The chandelier in the living room fell from the ceiling smashing to the ground with glass hitting one person in our group. I think the 9 out of 10 rating is inaccurate. VRBO apparently based that upon 30-40 ratings from other sites. I'd love to see those actual ratings this was based upon. I would give it about a 4 out of 10. From the moment we checked-in we considered finding alternative accommodations, and in retrospect I wish we had chosen that option.
