We wanted to enjoy this stay and came in with good intentions, but the experience fell significantly short of what was advertised. We're sharing this to help future guests and in hopes the owner will take the feedback seriously.The host did not send the access code or WiFi information as required — I had to request both the night before arrival.The unit was not guest-ready. Walls had visible stains and chipped paint, the tub drain had mold and debris, mold was present on curtains and in air vents, and door tracks were filled with grime and dead bugs.Multiple blinds were broken with exposed rusted screws. Closet doors had no knobs. One locked interior door could not be opened — a fire hazard. The dish washer’s bottom panel was missing, exposing wiring.Though listed as pet-friendly, the property was not safe for pets. Exposed screws, open refrigerator wiring, and unscreened windows posed real risks for our cat.On the last day, a toilet backed up and leaked from the base. Neighbors were loud nightly and regularly blocked the driveway. Towels were insufficient for a 5-night stay.We have photos documenting everything and hope the owner addresses these issues before future guests arrive.
