Fabulous bar, comfortable beds, and grimy shower.
This hotel gets a 10/10 for service (special shout out to Chuck at the bar for being amazing, sweet as can be, and making some great drinks). The lobby and restaurant/bar area are very cool with beautiful hip decor, and the breakfast (not an included continental breakfast, but a legit full breakfast) and staff who made it and served it were fabulous. The only complaint I have is for the bathroom in the room. The shower tile grout looked all moldy and could use a heavy dose of bleach and some elbow grease. I didn't want to stand on in it the shower with bare feet. I put a little hand towel down (not covering or blocking the drain), and then after my shower realized that the water had run out of the shower through the bathroom, under the door, and across the entry way. Thank goodness the floors are cement, so my mom and I were able to easily clean up all the water with the extra bath towels. Not sure if it was my fault for having a small towel in there to stand on, or if it's just terrible drainage, but it's not ideal in a hotel. No one else wanted to use the shower after that experience. The rest of the room was totally fine...cool modern aesthetic with comfortable bedding. Next time in Portland we will likely stay at a different hotel near by, but use the hotel for drinks, apps, and breakfast.

The room was pretty beat up. The location isn't one I would recommend. Not for walking around. All the employees were very friendly. Ordered dinner from the restaurant and it was horrible.

This was definitely the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. Never heard a slamming door or footsteps above. The staff was super friendly and helpful, shout out to the dining room staff that walked up and down the stairs to take and deliver our order! Area was pretty clean, felt safe. Could do with out the $50 per day parking fee, however Valet was super quick and accommodating. Will come back again! Extra points for fresh water dispenser and chipped ice.
