From checking in, to asking to borrow a knife to cut a lemon, to ask for running route advice to asking for a late check everyone was help, quick and hospitable!

We used to enjoy staying here a few years ago, but no more. It took 3 tries to find a room with working A/C, the soap in the bathroom looked like 1/2 size sample face bars, and the breakfast featured a broken coffee maker barely capable of making lightly colored decaf. The staff just disappeared before we could ask for help.

We were a bit ambivalent after seeing some negative reviews online, but we found Casco Bay Inn to be clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a pleasant two-night stay there.

A clean and rather no-frills roadside property. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and spacious but otherwise unremarkable. At $200 for the night we felt it was overpriced for what was offered, but all the hotels in the area are similarly priced so it is what it is. Breakfast was a true "cold continental," with cereal, yogurt cups, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and fresh bread and bagels. Coffee was decent, but we wished they had actual real dairy creamers instead of the "Coffee Mate" flavored corn-syrup-type stuff (yuck). There was also a juice machine. Location was very convenient: easy on/off I295, 15-20 minutes to Old Town Portland, and 5-10 mins at most to all the Freeport outlets and such. Property seems to be going through an upgrade so I imagine some amenities may change.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was simple, nice fresh fruit, usual sweet cereals, bagels etc. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room. The room was hot and muggy when we first entered. The A/C worked fine.

Property is currently under construction so if you can get over the piles of dirt and lumber in the parking lot, uncovered ceiling in the hallway, building materials piled in the lobby then it's fine for a night's sleep. Bed was comfortable, a/c worked, location is very convenient.

Bed was super comfortable. Continentel breakfast left a lot to desire. Also is bath soap an endangered species in Maine? Overall on a scale of 1-10 I would rate a 6, not terrible but needs some polishing!!!

Nothing great

The bed slept ok and sheets were clean and comfortable, but the room had a mustiness upon entry that made all the little imperfections stand out more. Very basic breakfast, nothing hot besides the coffee. They did have a choice of apples, tangerine and banana which was good, but woeful pastry selection. They are undergoing some renovations so things were a little torn up and materials stashed here and there. We only needed sleeping accomodations, so it serviced that, but it was expensive for what it was

I was happy with this hotel. I thought it was a good value for the price, especially as it offered breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and clean, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly. The room was updated and in good condition, as was the hallways and lobby. I would recommend this hotel based on the overall value for the price, and, because it offered breakfast.
