We were looking for a place to relax. The hotel was very quiet, the staff always available/helpful and the Onden very relaxing. I used it twice and was all alone which was wonderful. The only concern was getting used to having no top sheet. Not bad but unusual.

Great hotel. Way above the chain hotel stacompetition. Cedar Tree has more style, better rooms, especially the bathrooms, the onsen bath, and much more relaxing ambiance. The lighting in the onsen bath should be dimmed. It is too bright, and interferes with the relaxing effect.
