Housekeeping and laundry

I appreciate that housekeeping changed our sheets every day, since I needed it. I like the fact that there are two dryers because the wash takes less time than drying. Being able to wash my clothes made it easier when we got back home.

A friend and I stayed there for one night in Sept 2025 while our kids stayed at a nearby hotel for a concert. Enjoyed our clean, comfortable room and breakfast buffet. When I returned home, I realized I left my Kindle E-reader at the hotel, in my bed under the pillow, which is where it ends up every night when I fall asleep. I called right away and the front desk said the cleaning staff had not turned it it yet. I called back two more times. Once the following day, hoping it had been found by the laundry folks and then again after two weeks had gone by, in the hopes someone turned it in. No luck. It's obvious to me that one of the cleaners found it and decided to keep it for themselves. I mean, it was a top-of-the-line Kindle Oasis with a brand new case; who could blame them? I'm just really frustrated that the management didn't do anything about it. Be sure to check and double check your belongings, because if you inadvertently leave something behind at a Comfort Inn you won't be getting it back.
