This place was beautiful! It was quiet. There was a nature trail and a stream that brought the sounds of nature to any time spent outside. Up the street was the head to a true nature walk, with trees, ferns, wild raspberries, and a playground.

Wonderful alternative stay for business!

This was a business trip and I chose this place instead of a hotel. I am so happy I did this. The weather did not present itself for walks along all the trails, but the area is amazing. This place was a bit like a mid European zimmer. It was a bit kitschy, like being in the Black Forest with a creek path with plenty of gnomes, etc. Our room was very comfortable with a small deck. The breakfast included pastry, bagels, English muffins, cereal and fruit. It was a fun experience and our host were kind and hospitable.

My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. Positives include it was very clean, they offer lots of food items, they have many toiletries in case you forget something, and the host was very nice.
