Bathtub was dirty upon arrival with hairs inside, water pressure and heat was weak. Had the water all the way up to hot for 10 minutes and didn’t heat up to a comfortable temperature at all, even during shower. The power went out for several hours and the property refused to compensate in any way at all, even though I paid full price for full service. No partial refund, voucher, coupon or anything that would compensate for the inconvenience. I picked this hotel because it was closest to the hospital I was getting surgery at, and I was one day out of surgery and had to sit in a cold and dark hotel room for hours. They served unripe fruit at breakfast. Not worth it for the price. There’s no elevator and rooms are on a large hill, so it is not ADA accessible.

Booked this hotel because it was closest to the hospital I was getting surgery at. Stayed one night after my procedure and the power went out for several hours. Hotel refused to compensate in any way at all because they “had to uphold their cancellation policy.” I was one day out of surgery, sitting in a cold and dark hotel room for hours in agony. Definitely do not recommend if you expect to be compensated for any mishaps that happen at their fault.

I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to wander up to the lobby and assist me. I tried calling the listed number, but I couldn't hear any incoming phone ringing in the building. After getting to the room, we found pubic hairs all over the bathtub. The floors were not clean enough to walk barefoot on, and my initial request for extra pillows upon booking was not accommodated. Within the first hour, our toilet was clogged. We tried calling the front desk again, but had to walk to the lobby to ask for a plunger or some help. We were told that the maintenance person might be able to help, but didn't say when. We asked when it would be addressed and were told it might be in a few hours, when he arrived. We asked if we could get a plunger and handle it ourselves, and eventually, housekeeping brought us one wrapped in a plastic shopping bag. The following morning, we attempted to contact the front desk again, but there was never any answer. We had to drive to the lobby to speak with someone, but we ran into a similar issue to the night before: there was nobody at the front desk. We tried calling again, but no one answered. When someone finally appeared, we mentioned the issue with trying to call since last night with no answer. The person at the front desk was adamant that there was no issue with the phone. We made a few simple requests, specifically asking that housekeeping leave our beds as-is and bring pillows. Our beds were made, but the floors or pubic hairs weren't cleaned up.

Room was immaculate and house cleaning were incredible. The front desk was OK although they weren't in the mood to upgrade to a closer room to the lobby in spite of a lot of empty rooms. The biggest bummer was that Lou's Cigar Lounge is no more, a nice little feature that made the hotel one of my go-to favs. Heard that Lou past away and took the gem with him.

Check in was fast and friendly. Beautiful gazebo, pond and fountain. Nice pool. Bed was comfortable. Our room was spacious. We had a kitchenette and there wasn’t any paper towels or tea towels. No dish soap or dishwasher soap. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. The outdoor patio had spiderwebs and the chairs were filthy. Garbage left on the patio.
