Bit on the small side... but clean and friendly

Not recommended for a larger than average person... rooms are tiny. Toilet is squashed into corner you can barely get into... if the bathroom window is open you can bang you head on it upon standing up... healthvabd safety issue that!... but it was clean and comfortable none the less..i expect it would become uncomfortable during hit konths as no air con... staff very helpful despite only setting our door card to work for one night not the two lescing us locked out at 11pm... overall the staff were happy to help and friendly throughout that has to be said.

Staff were excellent, very helpful, and hotel was in walking distance of Guildhall, City Centre, and good public transport. On the downside, Hotel room was the smallest I have ever stayed in, twin beds were a double unzipped, with no room to walk normally between the beds and the wall. Bathroom was so tiny, you couldn’t swing a hamster, let alone a cat! Definitely unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues (even temporary ones).

This was my third visit to the Ibis hotel Portmouth. It's convenient to the railway station. The breakfast is good and the room is a generous size for a single traveler

The only issue we had was the size of bathroom, it was pretty tight to move around. Everything else was just what we needed for a lovely night away

Pleasant Stay.

Central location near railway station and city centre. Easy walking distance to Gunwharf Quay and Southsea and also frequent buses. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms are a bit tight but clean and comfortable.
