Excellent location. Close tp the seafront and restuarants and bars. Hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic, will definitely book for dinner next time. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Wish i knew about this hotel on the other occasions i have stayed in Portsmouth/Southsea. Will definetely be booking again in the very near future.

Great for our pre-cruise stay

Cute, boutique hotel. Very clean. Restaurant onsite was convenient and food was delicious. Location was tucked back from the main road and walkable to multiple museums, restaurants and other local areas of interest.

Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. Kim who was on reception when we arrived was a standard bearer for the hotel group, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond when we required some direction assistance.

Nice place , let down by the small things

Nice hotel, located conveniently close to the sea front. Good food served at Breakfast in the restaurant. It was the small things that let it down, and stop me giving it an excellent rating. The two most notable:- Bathroom had no shelf space to unpack washbags -so no where to conveniently put toothbrush/paste. Minuscule cups provided for making tea/coffee in the room. Most of the space is filled with the tea bag so you dont get a proper drink. Small things I know, but you just end up thinking "the designer never used this room" Certainly not reasons to avoid the hotel -but it could be better.

Portsmouth stay for Theatre

A 1 night stay at this well run establishment situated in a suburban street in Portsmouth. We opted for the secure gated parking, which was well worth doing. It is a safe well lit area about 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs in town and very convenient for The Kings Theatre where we were attending a comedy show. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly and the cooked breakfast was spot in. We would definitely stay again.
